Combustion Improver : Quick burning of entire fuel sprayed in combustion chamber is essential for better thermal efficiency.
Fluidity Improver : Longer chain hydrocarbons have tendency to coagulate thereby hampering the spray ability of fuel. Longer chains are broken in smaller chains which improves handling and spraying
Surfactants : The finer the spray of fuel the better & quicker the combustion of fuel. Reduced surface tension of fuel helps it in forming smaller droplets of fuel in a spray. Air fuel mixture in the form of very fine droplets of fuel in combustion chamber results in better flame geometry. This leads to maximum power output.
Detergents : All the internal surfaces of fuel system are cleaned of dust, carbon particles, wax, warmish etc. Injector nozzles are always retained clean for desired function.
Dispersant : At high operating temperatures and pressures fuel is retained chemically stable. Decomposed fuel leads to deposition of unwanted gum compounds; which is thus avoided.
